Dennis Udovich
President
My name is Dennis Udovich and I am the current president of the MN Bear Guides Association. Myself, along with my wife, are the owner operators of Udovich Guide Service in the small town of Greaney, MN. Since 1979 we’ve been guiding hunters starting with whitetail deer clients, then black bear hunters and in 1993 we added a pheasant hunting club. Guiding, trapping and hunting are my true passion and also what I do for a living. Our goal is to make dreams come true for our clients and give them memories to last a lifetime. I have been on the board of the MN Bear Guides Association since 2001. God Bless America.

We aim to provide a memorable hunt for some of Minnesota's best quality black bear. Operating since the early 2000's, we've established some of the most productive, successful hunting sites available. Our goal is to provide an experience that you will share with others for for years to come.
Jake Bergren
Secretary/Treasurer
Jake Bergren is a lifelong outdoor enthusiast whose passion for hunting and conservation was forged in the woods of Northern Minnesota. From his earliest years tracking whitetails, guiding bear hunters, and managing traplines with his family, Jake developed a deep-rooted commitment to the outdoors that serves as the foundation for his work today. As a board member for MBGA, he is dedicated to preserving these heritage traditions and ensuring that the same opportunities exist for the next generation. Jake’s guiding philosophy is simple: 'Life is short, never stop chasing your dreams!'
Director
Gary Peck
Hi. I'm Gary Peck of Bear River Guide Service. I have been a licensed bear guide since the 1990's and helped many friends and family members prior to that time. Bear River Guide Service is a family oriented and family run operation with many family members involved - from putting up stands, making bait (including our secret sauce), taking hunters out to their stands, putting up the stands, recovering the hunters' trophies, preparing supper for the hunters and taking the important photos after the bear is brought back to camp. We also have a skinner available to those choosing that option. We have a camping area and there are many resorts and motels in close proximity for them to stay in. Bear guiding is a labor of love with long hours and lots of hard work. The reward is seeing the smile on a successful hunter's face. The good Lord willing, I intend on chasing bears for a few more years and then the younger crew can take over. Thank you and God Bless.
